This drive was tested to power up only. The power switch neon light comes on and the fan inside spins. I don't have the proper equipment to test these, so they are being sold AS-IS. This particular drive has the cables disconnected inside, as pictured. It is also missing screws to keep the chassis secured.
The drive pictured is the exact item you will get. These drives came from a collector of DEC and Sun systems, who passed away.
Please note, these drives do NOT come with any cables, other than what's pictured. No manuals or other accessories will be included with these drives.
Due to the nature of these drives being over 30 years old, they are being sold strictly AS-IS. They have been tested to power on, and beyond that, they may or may not work (though we've found almost everything from this collector, including other hard drives, were fully functional). Also, be aware that Digital systems are notorious for capacitors of this vintage blowing, so you will probably need to replace PSU caps if you plan to use this with your vintage equipment.

All items are shipped FedEx Ground unless otherwise noted.  Insurance is included in the shipping price. Higher priced items will require a signature.  No exceptions.
For large hard drives, NO PO Boxes please. FedEx Ground only ships to a physical address.
We only ship to the Paypal verified address.  No exceptions.
Please note some lighter items may be shipped out using USPS First Class. Items are shipped in a timely manner (usually 1-2 business days). Tracking numbers are sent out when the item is shipped. You will get an email from PayPal and eBay to the PayPal provided email address.
