SYM-1/AIM-65 Memory Board

Description

Once you've added those 2114 RAM chips and maxed out your SYM or AIM, what's next?  Our memory board allows adding memory in 4K blocks for any area in the memory map where there is nothing else.
This plugs into the expansion slot and does decoding on-board; no need to perform cuts or add jumpers on your computer.  Two simple DIP switches allow you to enable/disable RAM for the entire addressing range of the 6502.
The pictures show the board on my SYM with RAM from 0000 to 7FFF.  Looking at the start-up message from BASIC in ROM, you can see there are more than 32000 bytes available for BASIC programs!
There are other holes in the SYM and AIM memory maps which can be enabled as RAM too.  Now you can stuff monitor extensions or other useful tools in high RAM without it being stomped on by other applications.  If your system does not have any additional ROMs then this board will allow you to put RAM into those otherwise unused spaces.
The board is fully assembled, tested, and has passed several hours of memory tests.  It is very easy to install and requires no changes to your computer.
