Vintage TSMC- Taiwan Semiconductor MFG. Co. 6" Computer Chip Box of 23 Wafers.

Description

Scarce New Old Stock (NOS) unopened plastic box of 23 Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) 6" computer chip wafers.  Each wafer has 171 chips on it.
These circa 1996 wafers were custom produced by TSMC for one of Paul Allen's (co-founder of Microsoft) companies and were for a programmable router.
As of this writing, TSMC is the most valuable Asian company.
Own a piece of technology history.
I have taken images of the front and back of a wafer from an opened box.  Thus, you will not be acquiring the pictured wafer. You are buying an unopened box of 23 wafers as depicted in the images.
